Eleven Eleven Sauce began not in a corporate boardroom, but at home in 2021 with a simple idea: that hot sauce could be better, cleaner, and more expressive.

The company was founded by Tyler, a natural outside-the-box thinker who noticed a singular uniformity across the entire hot sauce market: the ubiquitous use of vinegar. Tyler's "aha!" moment was realizing that vinegar was simply an acidic element and he could explore other, more flavorful acids. This led him to organic citrus, where he found the perfect alignment in grapefruit, lime, and lemon juices to realize his vision.

A Family-Powered Vision

From the very beginning, Eleven Eleven Sauce has been a family affair. Tyler, along with his wife and three kids, have been the backbone of the business, tirelessly building the brand from the ground up at every farmers market and event. This hands-on, grassroots approach means that every bottle is backed by genuine passion and commitment.

The Meaning of Eleven Eleven

The name "Eleven Eleven Sauce" is deeply intentional. We chose it because 11:11 is known as an angel number, symbolizing new beginnings, alignment, and manifestation. This perfectly captures our journey: manifesting a groundbreaking product by aligning our passion for flavor with the courage to introduce a new kind of hot sauce to the world.

Using organic grapefruit juice as our base for our flagship sauces—a world first—is the purest expression of this value. Today, we proudly craft and bottle our sauces with a dedicated co-packer in Tacoma, Washington, ensuring consistency and quality as we grow.
